What is a Vampire Facial?

Also known as PRP microneedling, the vampire facial uses your body’s own platelet-rich plasma for skin regeneration. After a small blood draw, we extract the plasma, which is filled with nutrients and regenerative properties, and gently microneedle it back into the skin to trigger collagen production at the cellular level. This is performed at both our Toronto and Mississauga locations.

This treatment is perfect for:

• Fine lines and wrinkles
• Dull or tired skin
• Acne scars and texture issues
• Loss of firmness
• Uneven tone and enlarged pores

Treatment Safety Insights

This procedure creates tiny channels in the skin, which your body naturally heals, but any time the skin barrier is disrupted there’s a chance bacteria could enter. Our team follows strict hygiene and safety protocols, and we handle all materials carefully, but it’s important to know about it, even if it’s extremely rare.

Who’s a Good Candidate?

Not everyone is a good candidate for a vampire facial. People with certain blood disorders, active skin infections, or those who are on blood-thinning medications may need to avoid it. We always review your medical history thoroughly with you before treatment to make sure it’s safe and suitable.

Vampire Facial FAQ

For the best results, 3 to 4 sessions are typically recommended, spaced about 4 to 6 weeks apart. After the initial series, some people choose to maintain their results with annual or biannual touch-up treatments. The exact number of treatments will depend on individual goals and skin condition.

The Vampire Facial is designed to promote smoother, firmer skin by stimulating collagen production and improving skin texture. Patients often see improvements in skin tone, reduced fine lines, and a more youthful appearance. Results can vary, but many people notice visible improvements within 2 to 3 weeks, with more noticeable changes occurring over 2 to 3 months as collagen continues to build.

The results of a Vampire Facial can last for 6 to 12 months, depending on factors like your skin’s condition, age, lifestyle, and how well you maintain the results. Follow-up treatments may be recommended to sustain and further enhance your skin’s appearance.

There is typically no significant downtime after a Vampire Facial. Most people return to their normal activities immediately after the treatment. However, you may experience some redness, swelling, or flaking in the treated areas, which usually resolves within a few days. It’s recommended to avoid direct sun exposure and heavy physical activity for 24 to 48 hours after the procedure.
