What Are Salmon DNA Injections?
Salmon DNA injections use purified salmon DNA – also known as PDRN therapy (polydeoxyribonucleotide) – to help your skin heal and regenerate itself at the cellular level. It’s sometimes called baby skin injections because of the soft, hydrated, glowy results.
At Reforme Lab, we combine this advanced compound with hyaluronic acid and amino acids to create a blend that supports collagen stimulation, cellular turnover, hydration, and skin healing. The DNA comes from salmon sperm cells, which are nearly identical to human DNA.
How It Works
The PDRN in salmon DNA stimulates tissue repair and improves fibroblast activity (collagen and elastin production). Hyaluronic acid pulls in moisture, and amino acids help support the regeneration. The treatment is delivered through either microneedling or mesotherapy methods. Both allow the ingredients to be absorbed directly into deep layers of the skin. Salmon DNA microneedling and mesotherapy often work best together.
- Salmon DNA therapy refers to the actual ingredients (PDRNs, hyaluronic acid, etc.)
- Salmon DNA Microneedling and mesotherapy are the methods of delivery.
The Difference Between Deliveries
Both approaches stimulate collagen, but microneedling offers a little extra by adding its own layer of skin renewal. We will help you choose which is best for you.

Treatment Plan
Most people start with a series of 3 sessions spaced about 2–4 weeks apart. You’ll often see a glow after your first treatment, with full results building over the next 4–6 weeks. Maintenance is typically every 4-6 months, depending on your skin.
Salmon DNA Injection Cost: $499 / Treatment
PDRN Facial
Our PDRN Hydrojelly facial is a results-driven facial built around the healing power of PDRN. It is designed to deeply hydrate, soothe, and support skin recovery (specifically post-microneedling).
It can also be used as an add-on at the end of a microneedling treatment for just $55. We layer the PDRN in targeted steps to maximize its absorption and efficacy:
- Double Cleanse
- Gentle Enzyme or Light Peel Exfoliation
- Extractions (if needed)
- Facial Cupping Lymphatic Drainage Massage
- PDRN (Salmon DNA) Hydrojelly Mask
- Shoulder and Upper Arm Massage
- Finishing Products
Salmon Sperm Facial Cost: $249
Add-on to treatment: $55

The Science of Salmon DNA Skin Rejuvenation
Compatible with Human DNA
What makes this treatment so special, and so effective, is its incredible compatibility with human skin. Salmon DNA, specifically the polynucleotides, closely mirrors the structure of our own DNA. That means your skin recognizes it, responds to it, and uses it to repair and regenerate.
What Are Polynucleotides?
Polynucleotides are naturally occurring molecules that form the essential building blocks of DNA and RNA. In the skincare world, they’re derived from purified salmon DNA and used to deeply repair skin from within. Unlike fillers which add volume, polynucleotides work with your skin’s biology to stimulate its own healing response.

FAQS
Salmon DNA injections use polydeoxyribonucleotides (PDRNs) derived from salmon, which actually work at a cellular level. While hyaluronic acid focuses mostly on hydration, and traditional injectables like fillers add volume, salmon DNA is regenerative. It helps your body produce more collagen, repair damaged skin tissue, and stimulate actual healing from within. This makes it more of a therapeutic option. Salmon DNA is ideal if you’re dealing with redness, early aging, or even scarring. It’s also incredibly well-tolerated because the DNA is biologically compatible with human tissue.
Yes, it’s one of the best injectable options for sensitive or inflamed skin types. Salmon DNA has natural anti-inflammatory properties, which makes it great for calming redness or irritation. It also supports barrier repair, which helps skin heal better and retain moisture. Clients with acne scars or compromised skin texture tend to respond really well. That said, if you’re actively breaking out or dealing with an infection, we may recommend waiting until your skin settles before starting.
Most people notice a subtle glow within the first week, especially better hydration and softness. But real results build over time. By the third or fourth week, your skin will start to feel firmer, more even-toned, and stronger overall. Collagen stimulation takes time, so it’s a gradual transformation, not a quick fix. That’s what makes it look so natural. The effects typically peak around 6–8 weeks after your last session.
Results can last up to 6 months, sometimes longer, with proper skincare and follow-up sessions. We usually recommend doing 2–3 treatments in a series to start, followed by a maintenance session every 4–6 months. The treatment isn’t about stopping aging, but it helps your skin age better by improving its underlying structure.
There’s no “perfect age” to begin, it really depends on your skin goals. Some clients start in their mid-20s to support hydration and prevention, while others seek it in their 30s, 40s, or 50s to improve elasticity and restore glow. Because it’s non-invasive and regenerative, it fits into many skin journeys and layers really well with other treatments.
We always start with a personalized consultation. If you’re noticing dullness, skin fatigue, or textural changes that aren’t improving with skincare alone, this may be an excellent next step. It’s especially well-suited if you’re not ready for fillers but still want visible rejuvenation. Our team will guide you honestly, based on your skin’s current condition and your long-term goals.
Not at all. Salmon DNA injections don’t add volume like fillers, they work under the surface to restore skin quality, hydration, and firmness gradually. You’ll look refreshed, not altered. It’s one of the best choices if you want that “you, but glowier” effect with no artificial plumpness.
Yes. Salmon DNA can be a beautiful complement to other injectable treatments. It doesn’t interfere with neuromodulators or filler and can actually improve the overall texture and appearance of skin in areas where volume has already been restored. We’ll help you time your appointments so everything aligns appropriately.
After 24 hours, yes, but we recommend keeping it simple and hydrating. Avoid active ingredients like retinol, exfoliating acids, or vitamin C for a few days. Instead, focus on gentle cleansing, barrier-repairing moisturizers, and SPF. We can recommend post-treatment skincare tailored to your skin type and needs.

That’s absolutely possible. We can customize your treatment to focus only on specific zones, like the under-eye area, neck, or jawline. In fact, Salmon DNA is especially effective for delicate areas that other injectables can’t treat as safely. We’ll assess your skin in person and create a precise, personalized plan.
